The nicest people and my favorite marina.
My husband and I took our children, ages 5 and (almost)3, here to take our new boat out for the day. It was our first time here, and we were very pleasantly surprised. We went to the small shop at the marina and were greeted and welcomed by an extremely friendly staff member. She gave us lots of good info, which included free life jackets to borrow, and told us about the food they offer on the weekends. There was an attendant on the dock to assist boaters in getting fuel, loading, and unloading boats. He even tied the boats off as you entered the docking area. We will definitely be back, as this is the BEST marina we have ever used.
Need to better prepare for big rushes.... we stood in line without any acknowledgment for about 30 mins... we finally were able to sit almost 45 mins in (and we cleaned off pur own table). Then it took almost an hour before we just told them to put our food in to go boxes....
Can't say enough good things about this place! Southern hospitality at its finest! We stopped during the "off season" and enjoyed the quiet, the still waters, the facilities, and the scenery!
